Dr Lee lectures nationally and internationally on a variety of topics that advance the sci-ence, art and practice of orthopaedic surgery, particularly spinal surgery. He is an untiring advocate of patient blood management, and a founding member of the Board of Directors and Past President of the Korean Research Society of Transfusion Alternatives (KRSTA). Dr Lee is a founding member of the Board of Directors and the current President-Elect of the Asian Society for Patient Blood Management (ASPBM). His published articles have appeared in several prestigious peer-reviewed medical journals. He is the current Train-ing-Chairman of the Korean Orthopaedic Association, the Past President of the Korean Society of Spine Surgery, the Past President of the Busan Orthopaedics Association, and the Past President of the Busan Spine Association. He holds membership with the Asian Pacific Orthopaedic Association (ASOA), the Pacific Asian Society for Minimal Invasive Spinal Surgery, the AO Spine Society of Korea, the AO spine Korean Medicine Association, and the AO North America Spine Society.
