Dr Pau lectures nationally and internationally on a variety of topics including complex paediatric and congenital cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery, valvular heart disease, aortic aneurysm surgery. He is an untiring advocate and famous pioneer of patient blood man-agement in Malaysia. His publications have appeared in several prestigious peer-reviewed medical journals, including the World Journal Pediatric Congenital Heart Sur-gery, the European Journal Cardiothoracic Surgery, the Annual Cardiothoracic Surgery, and the Journal Thoracic Cardiovascular Surgery. He holds membership with the Malay-sian Medical Association, the College of Surgeons of Malaysia, the Malaysian Associa-tion of Thoracic & Cardiovascular Surgery, the National Heart Association of Malaysia, the Society for Advancement of Blood Management (SABM). Dr Pau sits on the Organiz-ing Committee and Scientific Committee for MyPBM, and the Scientific Committee for the Asian Society for the Advancement of Patient Blood Management (ASPBM).
